Monark Exercise AB 894E Peak Bike Anaerobic Testing Ergometer Feature
- Conditioning bike designed to perform anaerobic tests such as the Wingate
- Ideal for sports medicine clinics, sports teams, universities, and more
- Patented, self-regulated "weight basket" braking system for testing

- Measures 26.5 x 44.5 x 44 inches (W x H x D); weighs 144 pounds; 1-year warranty
The 894E also offers a patented, self-regulated "weight basket" braking system that doesn't need calibration. As long as the basket is in the air and the weights are correct, then the brake force will also be correct. Trainers then set the workload by adding weights to the weight basket, with 1 kg, 0.5 kg, and 0.1 kg options and a workload range from 1 kg to 12 kg. During a test, the trainer generally suspends the weight basket in the upper position, where it offers zero resistance, then releases it through a button in the handlebars to begin the test.
Other details include an adjustable saddle and handlebar, combined PSD/toe clips with threads in the standard dimension to fit most common pedal systems, two different software applications (one for the anaerobic test and a second for Submax tests), a chest belt, a solid steel frame, wheels for easy transport, and a maximum weight capacity of 275 pounds. The 894E, which also works as a normal weight ergometer for Submax and Max tests, measures 26.5 by 44.5 by 44 inches (W x H x D), weighs 144 pounds, and carries a one-year warranty.
